Content design is the process of planning the creation of content that will engage a target audience. This involves identifying your content’s goals, how to present it (think subheadings, bullets and tables, and illustrative images – see content presentation) and how it might relate to other pieces of content, e.g., in a communications campaign. Drafting and critiquing the content might also be part of your content design process.
