Guidebook

A long-form piece of content that explains a complex topic or set of ideas and usually requires multiple sections to present sub-topics. Guidebooks are usually formatted with a cover, and use a table of contents and/or index to orient the reader. At CSCCE, a guidebook is usually a type of explainer.
