Back in November, we announced the new AAAS Community Engagement Fellows Program. To recap: With support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, AAAS will run a one year pilot program to support the professional development of community engagement experts in the scientific community.
Starting in January 2017, an initial cohort of 18 community professionals will receive training and ongoing support to help strengthen and professionalize the role of community engagement within large-scale scientific collaborations and associations.
